Evidence Sustaining Paleolithic Life Style.
Paleolithic people lived approximately 200,000 to 12,000 years ago. Robert Strayer author of ways of the world gives convincing evidence and some not so convincing about paleolithic people being more egalitarian than later people. equality was an important part of evidence for these egalitarian societies. Stability was the core of earlier societies than modern societies. Evidence that Strayer provides about Paleolithic and Neolithic eras being Egalitarian cane seen through gender roles, power, and status/wealth. Paleolithic era was a miscellaneous time period in which gender roles gave no divergence in the way people lived. Societies first formed themselves in a very intimate way where no one looked down on other people. Woman were bing pressured just as equally as men. Author of Ways of the World Robert Strayer says relationships between woman and men usually were far more equal than later societies. Feminism was seen in much evidence when women participated in the gathering and hunting with men
